Ticket policy

Last updated: October 29, 2026

This ticket policy covers the whole journey of registering for or buying tickets on MUTIC DIY: pricing and payment, order confirmation, e-ticket delivery, refunds and rescheduling, check-in, and dispute handling. MUTIC DIY is operated by IMUSIC TICKET LIMITED. By registering or paying you confirm that you have read and agree to this policy, the Terms of service and the User agreement.

1. Prices, currency and payment methods

Paid tickets are charged only in Hong Kong dollars (HKD, HK$), with a minimum ticket price of HK$5. The amount displayed on the page and order is the amount payable. The platform service fee is deducted from the organizer’s ticket proceeds.

Paid tickets can be settled with WeChat Pay, Alipay and Visa / Mastercard cards; the methods available are those shown on the payment page. Payments are processed by licensed payment providers — the platform does not store your card number or payment password.

Free events require no payment; tickets are issued as soon as registration succeeds.

2. Ordering and order confirmation

Every attendee needs their own valid ticket for admission. When ordering, enter each attendee’s real name and contact details; the name is printed on the ticket and checked at the door.

To keep access fair, the platform or the organizer may cap how many tickets one user can buy for an event; a single order holds at most 10 tickets.

Once payment succeeds, the order and tickets appear immediately under My orders and My tickets; the order number is your reference. If you have linked an email address we also send a confirmation email — a wrong address or a mail-provider problem does not affect the validity of the order.

3. Ticket delivery (e-tickets only)

MUTIC DIY issues electronic tickets only. There is no postal delivery or physical pickup, so no shipping fees, delivery times or collection points apply.

E-tickets are delivered as QR check-in codes; show the code in My tickets at the door. Keep your account and tickets safe and do not share screenshots of the code — a ticket that has already been checked in by someone else will not be reissued.

4. Refunds and rescheduling

Attendees may cancel a paid ticket themselves before the event starts; the amount less the platform service fee goes back to the original payment method. Tickets cannot be refunded, rescheduled or transferred once the event has started or the ticket has been checked in. Please confirm the event time, venue and ticket type before paying; payment means you accept this rule.

Attendees can cancel a registration themselves before the event starts, from My Tickets or My Orders: a free registration releases the seat; for paid tickets the amount less the platform service fee is returned to the original payment method, and timing depends on the payment provider. Tickets cannot be refunded once the event has started or the ticket has been checked in. Organizers can refund a single registration before the event ends, or cancel the whole event through the cancellation process (also less the platform fee); order and payment records are kept.

Free tickets involve no refund; tickets that have been checked in cannot be refunded. Refunds always go back to the original payment channel, and the time to arrive depends on the payment provider.

5. Cancellation, postponement and changes

The organizer is responsible for the event’s content, time, venue and on-site arrangements. If an event is postponed, tickets already purchased remain valid for the new date.

The organizer may make reasonable adjustments to event arrangements. Material changes are announced through in-app notifications or email — please watch for them.

Organizers may refund a single registration before the event ends, or cancel the whole event through the cancellation process; paid tickets are always refunded less the platform service fee.

6. Admission and check-in

Arrive at the time shown on the event page and follow venue rules and staff instructions. Once a check-in code is scanned the ticket counts as used and cannot be reused.

The organizer may refuse admission, without refund, to anyone without a valid ticket, with an already-used ticket, or who disrupts the event.

7. Disputes and complaints

For questions or complaints about an order, payment, ticket or the platform, email diy@mutic.ai with your order number (found under My orders), the event name and a description of the issue. We reply within 2 business days.

Matters concerning the venue, programme and entry rules are the organizer’s responsibility; the platform will help you reach the organizer where needed. If no agreement is reached you remain free to pursue other lawful remedies.

8. Security and personal data

The whole site runs over HTTPS (TLS), so your account, order and payment details are encrypted in transit. Payment is completed by licensed payment providers; the platform never handles or stores your full card details.

Your personal data is collected and used under the Privacy policy. Attendee names and contact details are shared with the organizer of that event solely for admission checks and necessary contact.

9. Liability

Events are created and delivered by their organizers; the platform provides the tools for listing, registration, ticketing and check-in. To the extent permitted by law the platform does not warrant the quality, content or on-site delivery of an event, but will hold organizers to the refund rules they publish.

10. Updates and language

We may update this policy from time to time and will show the effective date on this page; the updated policy applies to orders placed afterwards.

This policy is provided in Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and English. In case of any inconsistency the English version prevails.
